"Indeed reason has little spontaneous humility, we have to shake it up."

First, it is a question of establishing a philosophical dialogue between the people and cultures of the countries crossed. If we do not all have the same opinion, we all have reason in common, that is to say the ability to take a step back with our ideas, to examine them from a point of view other than that which we is customary. What is philosophy if not to be able not only to think, but also to think what one thinks, to examine it, to deepen it or to criticize it? To do philosophie is to meet with the other, so to meet strangers is essential, because it is through contact that we learn and build ourselves.

In a world in crisis where thoughts become rigid, turn to dogmatism and fanaticism, where men stand against each other without even trying to understand each other, where we often react before thinking, it is possible to do things differently. Taking the time to philosophize along the way is what we put into practice during this trip.

Thank you to Laurence Bouchet for the 'ride', thank you also to our traveling companions and all the people who warmly welcomed us. What a joy to philosophize with you on the road!
