- Look for real answers to questions that bother me
- Experiment with informal forms
I had a grand old time hanging out in public places ( parks, schools, churches, libraries, museums, sidewalks, beaches, restaurants, and even a coin wash!) with my sign and smile, inviting anyone who passed by to practice philosophy with me.
We always started with a question chosen by my comrades in thought, and we tried to answer it. Simple yet complex in reality, and rich in perspectives. What a delight to pause together in thought! There is an added plus to these philosophical meanderings, a space created between people, a time shared wandering the complex pathways of our mutual minds, a recognition of potentialities and realities that recharches and energizes. Thinking is an act we can do on our own, but we do it better together.
